About the Project
A statewide educational brand brought to life through promotional materials, print collateral, and outreach campaigns designed for students, parents, and educators.
As part of my work with the South Carolina State Library, I developed a wide range of branded materials for Discus, South Carolina's virtual library. Discus serves students, parents, educators, and lifelong learners across the state, making consistency, accessibility, and broad audience appeal essential to every design.
I created promotional and educational materials that helped increase awareness and engagement, including mousepads, rubber bracelets, pencils, pencil sharpeners, bookmarks, rulers, brochures, posters, flyers, tabletop displays, and banner stands. Each piece was designed to reinforce the Discus brand while remaining practical, engaging, and highly visible in schools, libraries, and community spaces.
Production quality was just as important as design. I worked closely with our contracted printer to ensure accurate color reproduction, maintain brand consistency, and verify that materials met Discus standards across all print runs.
